All smiles at Timperley Country Fair

THE sun shone for the Timperley Country Fair which took place at Larkhill on Saturday.
In conjunction with the main fair, there were numerous stalls, a craft show, horticultural show, a dog show and musical performances.
Roger Brooke, secretary of Timperley Country Fair, said: “It was fantastic, a tremendous day, I would consider it very very successful.
“It was probably our sunniest day ever which I think was enjoyed by all.”
A dog show was included for the first time, which Roger said was received well by visitors to the fair.
“It was nice to see people watching and participating in it, so we hope to include one next year.”
Forty of the stalls raised money for various charities and 15 were run by local businesses.
