Altrincham man designs book cover for supernatural thriller

AN Altrincham graphic designer and illustrator has designed a book cover for supernatural thriller, Sciron, which is to be published this Halloween.
Jim Adams, of Adams Graphic Design, has worked in illustration for 20 years, but said his first love is book cover design, particularly digital illustration.
Sciron author, David Rashleigh, said: “I found Jim via his website, which impressed me straight away. After one meeting with Jim, his infectious enthusiasm left me in no doubt that he would do a
good job for me. And so it has proved.”
Although Jim was thrilled to be chosen for the project, he admits that he has not yet read the book he worked so hard to design a cover for.
“I spend so much of my life staring at a screen that I don’t want to read for pleasure from a screen too. So I’ll wait until the paperback comes out in October.”
