Boy, 10, faints on tram between Altrincham and Timperley

METROLINK services were suspended between Altrincham and Timperley this morning due to a medical emergency.
Paramedics received reports of a 10-year-old boy fainting on a tram near Navigation Road Station at 8.30am.
He was conscious when paramedic staff arrived, but he was removed from the tram and taken to Wythenshawe Hospital as a precaution.
Metrolink services have now resumed.
