Clean up Altrincham tomorrow

VOLUNTARY group ‘Our Altrincham’ is hosting its 13th mass litter picking event in the town tomorrow, Sunday.

Previous clean-ups have filled 782 bags with rubbish.

Organiser Sarah Walmsley is hoping to get a helping hand from residents who have never taken part before.

“We can all make a contribution to the regeneration of Altrincham and this is an easy way to get involved. If you like what we’re doing, please come and join us,” she said.

The group will meet at 2pm on ATS car park, on the corner of Oakfield Road and Moss Lane, Altrincham. Litter picking equipment is provided. More details can be found on the group’s website at OurAltrincham.org
