Excitement Brews in Trafford for Biggest Macmillan Fundraising Event
PREPARATIONS for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning - Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraiser - are boiling up in Trafford.
The event, which raised £10m nationally in 2011, takes place on September 28 and invites anyone to host or attend a coffee morning in which they can get together and mingle with other people, while donating the cost of their coffee to Macmillan.
Events can be held at community centres, schools, offices, clubs or homes.
Macmillan is now filtering Trafford for any coffee morning registrations.
Fundraising manager, Amy Lewis, said: “We welcome any more registrations for coffee mornings in Trafford.
“There is still time to organise your own coffee morning event, whether you choose to make it creative or keep it simple.”
