AN estate agent from Altrincham helped raise £2,200 by completing a 14,000 ft skydive in aid of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.
Tom Slater, who works in the Altrincham branch of Gascoigne Halman, was one of seven brave members of staff from the firm’s South Manchester offices to take part in the tandem dive.
Tom said: “I was a bit nervous beforehand but it was an amazing experience and I’m really pleased to have taken part.
“We’ve raised money for a fantastic cause so it has been more than worth it.”
The skydive was organised as part of the estate agent’s yearlong commitment to raise money for the charity, who support the work in treatment and research done by the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
The jump was made from the Black Knights Parachute Centre in Lancashire.
