Two-year-old boy injured in road traffic collision in Hale

POLICE and ambulance crews dealt with numerous injuries after two vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision on Hill Top, Hale.
The incident occurred at around 1.40pm on Friday and caused the adjacent Hale Road to close for several hours.
A two-year-old boy was taken to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with a head injury, a spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said he was conscious but not fully alert.
Four adults were also treated by ambulance crews, one of which was a 35-year-old man who was conscious and breathing but had suffered severe bleeding.
Another person was treated for shock as well as suffering a chest injury and a suspected broken leg.
A police officer from the Greater Manchester Police trauma team attended to a 21-year-old man and gave him oxygen.
The injured were taken to various hospitals including Wythenshawe.
