Bonmarche wants Eileens to join its 30th birthday celebration

WOMENSWEAR high street retailer Bonmarche is marking its 30th anniversary this year - and is calling on Sale’s octogenarian Eileens to help it celebrate in style..

The chain was launched in 1982 - the year when Dexys Midnight Runners smash hit ‘Come on Eileen’ was number 1 for four weeks.

So, to coincide with its birthday the chain - which has a store on School Road, Sale - is calling all Eileens who are 82 years of age this year to call into their nearest store.

The School Road shop will be inviting Eileens to participate in a balloon release and each store will pick an Eileen to win an outfit of their choice.

Eighty-two year old Eileens need to contact the School Road store by August 8.
