Altrincham's Club Theatre launches new season

ALTRINCHAM’S Club Theatre will launch its new season with Kindly Keep It Covered by Dave Freeman from September 23-28.

This will be followed by Patrick Hamilton’s taut psychological thriller Gaslight from November 11-17.

Horses Inn Midstream by Andrew Rosenthal is the society’s next play, in which Charles’s past catches up with him when his granddaughter comes to visit. It runs from Janary 13-19.

The Club Theatre’s Spring production is the thoughtful, funny and at times deeply moving play Humble Boy, which runs from March 17-23.

In April, the Club’s young actors, Altrincham Youth Theatre, will perform a play in the Oxford Road venue, the details of which are to be announced shortly.

It’s back to school for the final play of the season, John Dighton’s The Happiest Days Of Your Life, which runs from May 26 to June 1. All performances start at 7.40pm.

Theatre groups from Trafford and all over the north west will converge on the theatre for the Hale One Act Festival from June 17-22. This event starts at 7.30pm.
