Robert takes over as Rotary's top man in the region

Robert Strachan
ALTRINCHAM Rotary Club member Robert Strachan has taken over as the organisation’s top man in the region.
Robert has been installed as governor of Rotary District 1050 – which comprises parts of Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
He now serves as governor from July 2012 until June 2013, and is the leader of the 41 clubs in this part of the north west.
Robert was a member and chairman of Sale Round Table in his younger days, and joined the Rotary Club, in Altrincham, in 1993.
He was its president in 2001-02, served as its secretary for several years, and has undertaken most service positions within the club, principally working with local schools and with the Rotary Foundation, its own international charity.
He has received several honours from Rotary for his achievements and service.
Robert was born in Scotland and is married with two grown up children.
