Messenger reader scoops a gym pass
THIS skateboarding action shot has scooped Messenger reader Claire Neville a free gym membership prize. Stretford and Urmston MP Kate Green offered a prize of a year’s free family membership of Trafford Community Leisure Trust centres to the reader who took the best picture illustrating the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. And this picture by Davyhulme resident Claire of her skateboarding son Leo, aged 13, scooped the prize. Kate - who won the pass at a charity dinner - said: “I was really pleased to run this competition with the Messenger. I think the winning picture is fantastic and hope Claire makes good use of the prize!”
