Join in Olympic cultural celebrations

TRAFFORD residents are invited to join celebrations today at the Trafford Centre for ‘North West for 2012 Day’.
The event aims to mark the imminent arrival of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and encourage people to get involved with WE PLAY Challenge.
Entertainment will be provided on stage at The Orient until 6.30pm.
Debbi Lander, programmer for Cultural Olympiad in the north west says the eyes of the world will be on the UK this summer. She added: “We’re making the north west a cultural playground for the Games.”
