ALTRINCHAM Creative Theatre School has had another successful one act play season - collecting five awards out of the three festivals they entered. At the Partington Players Festival ACT I drama student Annabel Lu won a Best Supporting Award and student, Naaman Carr won the Best Youth Actor for his role in a new play called “The Worker” which was directed by a fellow ACT II student, Jack Simmons. Other awards were won by the director and cast of this play plus another student from ACT I Ben Hughes.

Head Tutor Valerie Harris commented “My fellow tutors and I are delighted for the students who have all worked very hard on these productions. A lot of time and preparation has gone into these productions and we are very pleased to have such a dedicated, loyal group of young people and supporters. A.C.T.S has gone from strength to strength and we hope to continue to improve.” * Auditions for new members will take place in September anyone interested in finding out more should call head tutor Valerie Harris, on 0161 928 2277 or you can email her at info@acts4u.org.uk
