UPDATE- The body of a man and woman were found at a house in Sale.
At about 4.35pm on July 6, police were called to Clough Avenue following a concern for welfare for the occupants of the house.
Officers attended and entry was forced.
The body of a 68-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were found. The woman had sustained a gunshot wound.
The road has been cordoned off while forensic tests take place.
