THE Magnificent Seven have completed their charity challenge and raised £2,500 for good causes.

The group set out to climb Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in 24 hours at the end of May.

But the lads - who come from Sale, Timperley and Altrincham - completed the task with time to spare. After 23 hours and 23 minutes they were finally able to put their feet up.

As a result of them taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge, The Christie and The Alzheimer’s Society received £1,250 each.

Group spokesnan Ben Preston said: “We would like to thank everyone who has supported us – their generous donations are going to help very good causes.”

The challenge has given the lads the appetite for more - and they could be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro a possible destination.
