Will initiative raises £2.6 million for good causes

SOLICITORS raised more than £2.6million for a leading charity in a scheme last November.
They raised funds by writings residents’ wills and asking them to donate to Will Aid instead of charging their normal fees.
Will Aid is the UK’s biggest charity and provides professionally written wills for members of the public.
Nine charities participated and the result beat 2010s total of £1.6million with money still pouring in.
The scheme will run again this coming November for people who missed the opportunity last time.
