Signal fault at Hale crossing
A FAULT with the signals at Hale level crossing is causing disruption in the village.
The red light was on and alarm sounding while the barriers were up, pictured.
A woman cyclist got off her bike to direct traffic until police officers arrived.
Police are now manning the crossings and the barriers are down.
Network Rail said staff are on their way to rectify the problem.
