Children's charity appeals for Tesco vouchers

THE Children’s Adventure Farm Trust has thanked Messenger readers for their fantastic support sending Tesco Vouchers for Schools & Clubs - and are asking people to continue to collect them.

The charity use the vouchers to buy equipment for the terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children visiting them for holidays and daytrips.

Last year they collected 21,000 vouchers which enabled them to buy arts and sensory play materials which would have otherwise cost the charity £800.

Fundraiser Helen Crowther said: “We are so grateful to everyone who has sent us vouchers already, The Messenger’s readers have been so generous. We have noticed a dip in the number of vouchers we’ve received this year though, which in the current climate is totally understandable.

This year, more than ever, we need people to send in their vouchers as the money we will save on equipment will enable us to bring even more children to CAFT for a holiday of a lifetime.”

Vouchers should be sent to The Adventure Farm by June 22 at: Helen Crowther, The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, Booth Bank Farm, Reddy Lane, Millington, Cheshire. WA14 3RE
