Two men bailed as police investigate taxi licensing at Trafford Council

TWO men arrested in connection with alleged licensing irregularities at Trafford Council have been bailed as police continue their investigation.
A 51-year-old and a 54-year-old were arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office.
The investigation followed allegations that staff accepted payments to issue taxi licences.
The two men have been bailed until July 20 pending further inquiries.
Inquiries are ongoing.
