THE Mayor, Cllr Jane Baugh, has taken on the role of honorary president of the Alma Singers.

The Sale-based choir raises funds for various local charities through its concerts and has appeared at the Mayor’s Charity concerts on many occasions.

Mayor’s consort, Dr Peter Baugh, has been a member of the Alma Singers for a number of years.
