Bicycle Village bike music festival

12:00pm Monday 30th April 2012

TWO-wheeled enthusiasts in Sale are putting the pedal to the metal to raise money for charity.

The Bicycle Village bike music festival brings cycling devotees and their families together for an array of exhibitions, games, live music as well as an auction.

It takes place Jackson’s Boat Pub and The-Bike-Barn, Riffel Road, Sale, on May 12.

All money raised from the auction will go to two charities; Simply Cycling and the Childrens’ Adventure Farm Trust.

Event organiser, Arek Bartniczak said: “We have over 15 bikes donated by the community for this year’s auction, so if anyone knows anyone who would like a bike for a bargain let them know about it.”

Live music on the day will be provided by local bands including Molly & The Cellar Boys and bike dance group The Spokes.

Early birds can grab a bargain from 9am with the bicycle jumble and the main events starting at 12pm.
