Timperley author's illustrated talk

TIMPERLEY author and publisher Keith Warrender is giving an illustrated presentation The Battle for Kinder Scout at the Friends Meeting House, Mount Street, Manchester tomorrow, Tuesday, April 24 at 7.30pm. Admission is free.

This is part of the 80th anniversary celebrations for the Kinder Scout Mass Trespass in 1932, in which five ramblers were jailed in the protest for access to one of the Peak District most loved areas.

Keith will also be launching the new updated book by the leader of the protest, former Timperley resident Benny Rothman, at the event.
