AN Altrincham resident is heading out on a trip of a lifetime to Thailand.
Former Leeds University student Rachel Kay will spend two months volunteering with top global organisation Projects Abroad.
The sociology graduate will head out to Krabi, Thailand on July 4.
Duties will involve providing creative and educational activities that will aid children in learning English.
The 21-year-old said: “This is a big challenge for me personally. I really hope my trip is a big success.”
Peter Slowe, director of Projects Abroad said: “We are really pleased Rachel is doing this. Thailand destination are looking forward very much to meeting her - and they definitely want her to bring some pictures of Cheshire with her."
