Altrincham jeweller scoops national prize

AN Altrincham jeweller has won a national award for excellent performance.
H.Samuel, on George Street in Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter, bagged an internal business award for the best UK Role Model out of 340 stores in the company.
Meanwhile store manager Adii Roberts picked up the award for Newcomer of the Year.
The corporate prize, based on store standards in terms of tidiness, training, sales and performance was awarded to Altrincham at a ceremony in Birmingham last Wednesday.
H.Samuel, part of Signet jewellers UK, annually rewards and recognises their store teams for demonstrating great customer service.
Adii has been working for H.Samuel for four years and moved to Trafford specifically to manage the Altrincham branch nearly two years ago.
He said: “Every year we get excited about who has won, it’s like the Oscars for stores.
“It’s a great achievement that the Altrincham store has won out of all of the H.Samuel stores in the country.
“We worked really hard to ensure that all of the staff are well-trained and can offer a great level of customer service and expertise about watches and jewellery to our shoppers.
“I’m also so proud to have been recognised myself and that we bought two awards back to Altrincham.”
