STAFF from the Altrincham offices of recruitment specialist Meridian Business Support have been named Branch of the Year after announcing the best net profit of any of the firm’s 80 offices.
The team from Altrincham Mechanical and Electrical office were awarded the accolade in addition to entry into the business’ ‘100 Club’ - for offices which have reached and surpassed the milestone of £100,000 net profit in a year.
Nigel Dobinson and Dave Thomas of the Altrincham HQ triumphed in the ‘Awesome Idea’ category after saving the company a prediced £250,000 after replacing a patchwork of telephone systems, with one efficient system.
A host of individual awards were also presented to Altrincham staff.
Mark Mitchell, chief executive said: “The Meridian board was delighted to see so many examples of ingenuity, dedication and hard work.
“The winners stood out from a very high quality field and I’d like to thank everyone for all their hard work.”
