Daffy's delight at Marie Curie fundraising

MARIE Curie mascot Daffy jumped into the Daffmobile and took to the streets of Trafford to pick up donations from generous locals.

The character was helping fundraising groups in the area collect daffodil donation boxes which have been filled by customers and staff at local business throughout March.

Local Marie Curie fundraiser, Michelle Bate said: “Every donation for a daffodil will help us to provide more free nursing care hours, allowing terminally ill people to spend their finals days in the comfort of their own gomes surrounded by family and friends.

“The support that local businesses have given by putting a bosx on their counters, and the support of local people have shown by making a donation and wearing a daffodil will help us make a big difference to our patients and their families during a difficult time.”
