Easter delight at Elmscot Day Nursery

THE Easter Bunny wasn’t the only animal around this spring as the egg-cited children of Elmscot Day Nursery took part in the daily care of new born chicks.
The preschool children at the Timperley nursery have been part of a Living Eggs life-cycle education programme supporting their Spring and Easter topics.
They took delivery of an incubator, eggs and brooder box last Monday and by the Wednesday the chicks were already hatching.
The children, staff and parents alike have enjoyed being able to watch the chicks grow each day, learning hands-on about their life-cycle, demonstrating the value of the nursery’s practical learning journeys.
