Two Trafford Council staff members suspended

TWO members of staff from Trafford Council’s licensing team have been suspended.
This is to allow to an investigation to be conducted in accordance with the council's procedures.
A spokesman said: “Because this is an ongoing investigation, it would be inappropriate for us to provide any further details at this stage.”
The matter has also been handed to Greater Manchester Police.
A spokesman said: “Greater Manchester Police has been contacted by Trafford Council about an ongoing investigation they are carrying out.
“As these discussions are ongoing it would be inappropriate to comment further.”
