AN Altrincham affordable housing specialist has been selected to build a £5.6 million, 68-home development in Wythenshawe.
The new Foxfield development will be brought to life by Lovell, on Park Road, after the company was selected by Parkway Green Housing Trust.
All the new properties will be for social and affordable rent through Parkway Green.
The site, previously occupied by reinforced concrete homes, has been demolished.
The 68-week construction programme is going ahead with funding from the Government’s Affordable Homes Programme.
It will be delivered through the JV North Partnership.
Lovell was selected through a competitive tendering process.
Lovell regional director Nigel Yates said: “Our team is extremely pleased to be using our expertise in delivering high-quality affordable housing to build these much-needed new homes.”
