Appeal for Marie Curie fundraising volunteers

MARIE Curie Cancer Care is appealing for volunteers to help run the Stretford and Urmston Fundraising Group.

The group is being formed in order to raise money to fund the local Marie Curie Nursing Service.

Meetings will be held every four to six weeks and the group is in need of people to take on a number of roles including secretary, treasurer and chairperson along with anyone else who would like to give their time in a non specific role.

Community fundraiser for the charity, Anne-Marie Wynne said: “Many hands make light work and I’d like to encourage anyone who is interested in being part of the group to give me a call.”

Volunteers will receive full training and anyone wishing to get involved or requires any further information can contact Anne-Marie Wynne on 0161 255 2809 or email anne-marie.wynne@mariecurie.org.uk
