Breast Cancer Care and Cancer Research benefit from charity night at Ashton-on-Mersey Golf Club

A CHARITY night in Sale raised nearly £4,500 for national cancer charities.
Gaynor Leigh, of Reading Drive, organised the event at the Ashton-on-Mersey Golf Club.
With Barclays and NatWest matching some of the money raised, £3,975 went to Breast Cancer Care and £500 for Cancer Research.
Timperley-based band The Invaders performed on the night for free and prizes were donated by friends and local businesses.
