TWO teenagers were cut free from a car after a collision in Altrincham on Monday, February 27.
Firefighters from Sale and Altrincham Fire Stations were called by the ambulance service to Sinderland Road at 10.15pm.
Two teenagers – a 15-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man – were trapped inside one of the vehicles while a 58-year-old man in the other car had managed to get out before the fire service arrived.
The crews used spine boards and cutting equipment to release the teenagers and give them oxygen at the scene.
The girl was suffering minor injuries and the man had two dislocated elbows and a broken femur.
They were both taken to hospital for treatment.
The other man was given oxygen at the scene but was not taken to hospital.
