TRAFFORD’s Mayor, Councillor Mrs Jane Baugh, is hosting a variety of different charity fundraising events during February and March.
Proceeds will go towards the Mayor’s charity fund, supporting The Stroke Association, Parkinson’s UK, Trafford Carers Centre -Alex Hulme Foundation, Trafford Stroke Support group and Altrincham Hospital League of Friends.
A Quiz Night will be held at Altrincham Railway Club on Navigation Road on Friday, 10 February at 7.30pm. Admission £5.
Sale Waterside’s Council Chambers is the venue for a talk on Fletcher Moss Garden by John Steedman, on Friday, 24 February at 7.30pm. Promising to give a fascinating insight into the gardens and their history, this is sure to be extremely popular.

Moving into March, there will be a ‘St David’s Day Dinner’ at Trafford College’s Aspire Restaurant on Manchester Road in Altrincham. This promises to be a very popular fundraising event, so people are being urged to secure their tickets, costing £25, quickly. Sale Waterside’s Robert Bolt Theatre is the venue for a film screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Tickets are available from 0161 912 5616.
