ALTRINCHAM resident Emma Atkinson has claimed the prize in Trafford’s real nappy prize draw.
Emma Atkinson won a birth to potty kit worth £300 to keep her unborn baby in nappies until potty trained.
That’s enough nappy changes for the next 3 years and Emma - pictured with and husband Dave and the prize - will save more than £500, including washing costs, compared to if she used disposables.
Recycle for Greater Manchester (R4GM) ran the prize draw to celebrate Real Nappy Week.
Emma said: “Opting for real nappies was always something we wanted to do. Not only is it better for the environment but it just made more sense financially too.
“To win the birth to potty kit just gave us even more flexibility to choose the nappies we wanted and felt would be best for our baby.”
