FROM May 8 Kids Car Boot and Swap Shop will be running an event on the second Sunday of every month at Sale High School.
The event starts at 10am to 12noon at the Norris Road school and families interested in running a stall need to book in advance and are invited to bring unwanted toys and baby items to sell and children can also take items to swap with other children.
Admission is 50p and stalls cost £10 each. At the end of the event unsold items can be donated to Barnado’s.
Tracey Brooks, from Barnardo’s, said: “Barnado’s has been working with Kids Car Boot and Swap Shop since March last year and so far we’ve taken away 46 truck loads of unwanted toys and goods worth over £26,500 which will help improve the lives of less fortunate children.”
