A NURSERY in Stretford recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Fledglings Nursery, which specialises in the care of children from birth to 11, consists of three nurseries in Stretford, Worsley and Irlam.

The first was designed and built in Stretford in 1990 by the Company's current owner Christopher Gray.

Sue Heslop, the manager of the nursery who has been working there since it opened, said: "I’ve been the manager for the past 10 years and the business is doing extremely well. The children are enjoying themselves and we have good staff here; but most importantly, we thoroughly enjoy our jobs!"
