A MAN has been charged with possessing the gun used to kill 16-year-old Giuseppe Gregory in Stretford.

Michael Egerton, 21, of Buckley Avenue, Gorton, appeared before Manchester City Magistrates’ Court charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Manchester Crown Court Crown Square on Tuesday, July 7.

Giuseppe died in the early hours of May 11 after being shot outside the Robin Hood pub, on Barton Road.
