'Super college' opens its doors

FOLLOWING the merger between North and South Trafford Colleges last year, the new Trafford College will celebrating its official launch next week.

The £29 million super college's official opening ceremony on Thursday will be held at the new adult learning centre at the Talbot Road site in Stretford, between 2 and 8pm.

Staff will be on hand to offer expert advice on courses in Skills for Life, access to higher education, professional qualifications and leisure learning, as well as an exclusive preview of adult and professional courses. The launch day will also include star prizes and family fun.
