Talented footballer Halton McCollin lost his fight for life on Tuesday after a shooting in Stretford on Saturday.

all people need to do is read other comments to see what kind of person you were. it is wrong that people are going round just shooting people who are doing the best they can in life. just walking past the site every day and seeing all that has been left shows how many people you touched in your life. your family should be very proud.
in a note to the family, i hope youont mind but if the newspaper is right about the organ donation i personally think even through your most heartbreaking tragdey you have thought of others. for that there will be some very grateful people and you are incredibly brave.
though no words can ease your pain, may you find some comfort in knowing how many people loved halton.

Unfortunately we are now living in a society where gun crime is an everyday occurrence, and I know that this heartbreaking tragedy won't be the last - but hopefully not in vain. I pray that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
