The supply of class A and B drugs that Capon and his gang controlled is believed to have a street value worth of more than £500,000.

Greg McKenna, NCA regional head of investigations, said: “Capon is known to have family and friends in and around Manchester and I’ve no doubt that someone seeing this appeal has information on his whereabouts, even if he is no longer in the area himself.

“I would also point out that anyone helping him or actively frustrating our attempts to locate him could find themselves being arrested for assisting an offender.

“Criminal gangs involved in the supply of drugs are also involved in violence and exploitation which has a direct impact on our communities here in the north west.

"This is why the NCA and our policing colleagues take these kinds of offences so seriously.”
