A RESIDENTIAL care home in Sale has been rated as 'good' by government inspectors.

A report ranked the home Harboro, Harboro Road, which looks after five people with learning disabilities and health needs, as good in all five keys areas including safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness and being well led.

It was noted that staff knew the residents and were on hand to provide individual support and there were clear person centred plans in place detailing individual requirements and support plans.

Residents and families described staff as kind and caring which in turn helped support them to maintain privacy and dignity.

Staff said they were well supported by the managers who had robust recruitment procedures in place.

Medicines were safely managed and the health and nutritional needs of residents were met.
