A FUNDRAISING event is being held in aid of this year’s appeal for the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) charity on Wednesday, June 13.

The theme of this year’s ladies' lunch is CAFT Tropicana, which will be held at the Mere Golf Resort and Spa.

The event will be hosted by Paul Sleem, who will keep guests entertained throughout a day of fun and fundraising at which he will be joined by special guests and charity patrons.

A totally tropical cocktail reception will launch the event in style at 10.30am, guests will then be invited to shop until they drop at the many stalls on offer.

Participants will be treated to pampering sessions, demonstrations and giveaways.

The charity will be holding raffles with some amazing prizes and an auction. Guests will be serenaded by a George Michael tribute act.

Guests will also be fed and each will go away with a luxury beauty case plus gifts.

The charity regularly sells out this fantastic event so is urging anyone who may wish to attend to get in touch asap to avoid disappointment.

Pippa Watton, of CAFT, said: “This event grows in popularity each year, word really is getting out that the ladies lunch is one of the premier events in the society calendar

“We are in need of sponsorship and quality auction and raffle prizes, to help raise funds at the event for our work with ill, disabled and disadvantaged children, and I would love to hear from anyone interested in helping.”
