SUPPORTERS will be raising a cuppa in Davyhulme to mark Fairtrade Fortnight.
The annual event, which runs until March 11, is a coffee morning hosted by Stretford and Urmston MP Kate Green, on Friday, March 9, at Christ Church parish hall, Davyhulme, (M41 OTD), between 10am and 11.30am.
Participants will be given an opportunity to discuss any matters of concern with Ms Green over a cup of tea or coffee and sample cakes, biscuits and other delights — all home-made with fair trade ingredients.
She said: “Once again I’m really pleased to be supporting Fairtrade by hosting my annual coffee morning.
“It’s a great chance for me to have a chat and a cuppa with constituents as well as enjoy some delicious cakes — and all for a good cause!”
All are welcome, with any money raised in donations going to Action Aid.
For further information contact telephone 0161 749 9120 or email Ms Green direct on kate.green.mp@parliament.uk.”
