THE generous Urmston actor and singer Wayne Devlin, who is well known locally for his continuous charity work, has ended the year by donating all the proceeds from his single ‘What Colour Is The Wind’ to the victims of the Manchester Arena attack.
Wayne has raised around a quarter of a million pounds over the years for Manchester based charities and community groups which has earned him several awards. This time, Wayne will donate to the Manchester Fund for the victims families and for a memorial for those who lost their lives at the Manchester Arena attack.
Wayne said: “Although there has been a great deal of money raised for this cause, my donation of my single sales isn’t just about the money. It’s a clear message to the families and all those affected by the terrible attack on our great city, that although time has moved on, our best wishes are still very much with you all. You are all still in our thoughts and very much in our hearts. No amount of money can bring back those we have lost but I hope my single will say to all those affected that we are still here shoulder to shoulder with you all and that we care."

Wayne is now turning his main attention back to his acting with auditions lined up for the new year.
