I WOULD like to thank everybody who came to the Victoria Hall on Saturday to make the charity concert such a success.

Also many thanks to the Smithills Community Wind Band and Choir and The Eagley Band for the great performances, and to Chris Wormald for organising and conducting with his usually high degree of professionalism.

Hopefully, we will have raised a significant amount of money for three excellent local charities: Urban Outreach, Bolton City of Sanctuary and NHS Bolton Hospital Charitable Trust, while at the same time having a very enjoyable evening.
