RESIDENTS can learn more about their health services by attending NHS Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and health engagement event on September 26, 1pm – 4pm, at the Waterside Arts Centre, Sale.

Trafford CCG holds the NHS budget for the borough and buys a range of healthcare services on behalf of residents.

The formal AGM, from 1 to1.45pm, will summarise the organisation’s operational performance over the past year and share financial highlights.

At 2pm there will be an awards ceremony, followed by an interactive engagement workshop, 2.30pm – 4pm, to discuss priorities for the future and improving health services in Trafford.

Matthew Colledge, chairman of Trafford CCG, said: “We look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to our AGM and health engagement event. It’s a fantastic opportunity for members of the public and our stakeholders to learn more about how we spend Trafford’s NHS monies and how we can work together to improve the health of the people of Trafford.”

There will be a marketplace area for local groups and organisations to showcase the work they do in Trafford.

The AGM will start promptly at 1pm. People are asked to arrive onwards from 12.30pm. The event concludes at 4pm.

If you would like to attend, please register your place with Liz Walker via email: elizabeth.walker4@nhs.net, or call: 0161 873 6093 by Thursday, September 21.
