THREE men from Trafford have been charged following a series of attacks in Cheadle Hulme.

Devante Gibson, aged 20 from Stretford, Cole Hamilton aged 19 from Partington and Mark Bowyer aged 28 from Bowdon, have been charged with kidnap, section 18 assault, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a firearm with intent and three counts of personal robbery.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester on October 9.

Police were called shortly after 11pm on September 7 to Swann Lane, Cheadle Hulme, to reports of a robbery.

A further report of a man being bundled into a white van was received, along with a report of a man being assaulted in Ladybridge Road.

Mark Bowyer was additionally charged with dangerous driving.

Miri Cull of Alvington Grove, Hazel Grove and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named have also been charged in connection with the attacks.
