FREELANCE photographer Darren Marsden believes he got a photo of the large asteroid known as Florence as it cruised past Earth on Saturday.
Florence, which measures 2.7 miles across, went past Earth at a distance of around 4.4 million miles - which is considered pretty close.
Darren said: "I know Asteroid Florence was moving North and this thing was slowly moving that way so I am convinced it was Florence."
