LORETO Grammar School's Headteacher, Jane Beever has congratulated her A Level students not only on another exceptional set of academic results but for their breadth of interests outside the classroom.

Mrs Beever said: “In an educational landscape that is constantly changing it is important that teachers and parents provide consistent support, and this year with a return to a stronger emphasis on end of course exams we have had to adapt both our curriculum and our processes to give our girls the best possible opportunity to succeed.”

“However, education is about much more than grade success and I am even more delighted that our young women have given so much to the wider community in a manner we know they will want to continue throughout their lives.”

Loreto's results were again eye catching with 71 per cent of all grades at either A* or B with 40 per cent at A* or A. A stunning 29 girls achieved straight As with five high flyers getting three A*s or better.
