Elderly man taken to hospital after burgled and threatened with machete
An 80-year-old man has been taken to hospital after burglars broke in and threatened him with a machete.
The burglary took place shortly before 9pm on August 9 when police were called to Acregate, Flixton.
Two men forced their way inside the property and threatened a man with a machete before stealing cash and fleeing the scene.
An 80-year-old man suffered multiple injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
